About the Platform

trst is an Identity as a Service (IDaaS) platform that enables organizations to leverage Fujitsu's PalmSecure palm vein scanning technology for secure, contactless biometric authentication.

Key Capabilities

Projects & Organization Create projects to organize your palm vein identification infrastructure. Each project can manage multiple sensors and maintain separate or shared environment databases.

Environment Types

  • Global Environments: Regional or national identification databases where users enroll via public-facing apps or trst-developed terminals and kiosks
  • Multi-tenant Environments: Organization-specific databases where businesses control enrollment using sensors connected to their tenant environment

API Architecture

  • RESTful API: Standard HTTP API for querying project information, managing enrollments, and accessing environment data (API key authenticated)
  • Device-Com API (Coming Soon): HTTP API with long polling for terminal devices (Android, Linux, Windows) with connected palm vein sensors - used for access control terminals, payment terminals, and enrollment kiosks

Integration Options

  • Android SDK: For Android-based terminals with connected sensors
  • Linux SDK (Coming Soon): For Linux-based terminals and kiosks
  • Windows SDK (Coming Soon): For Windows-based terminals and workstations
  • Device-Com API (Coming Soon): Direct HTTP/REST integration for custom terminal implementations
  • Sample applications and comprehensive documentation

Use Cases

  • Access Control: Secure building and facility access
  • Payment Systems: Contactless biometric payment verification
  • Healthcare: Patient identification and medical record access
  • Government Services: National ID programs and citizen services
  • Corporate Security: Employee authentication and time tracking
  • Retail & Hospitality: Customer recognition and loyalty programs
